Jonathan Garrard

Woodworking has always been a passion.  I studied cabinet making and furniture restoration at the London College of Furniture and then went to work in the trade in London as a restorer.  I also taught woodwork, cabinet making, restoration, picture framing, wood finishing and wood machining for 20 years at all levels, from adult classes to degree courses.

The family and the workshop moved to Wales in 2006, where I specialise in making one off designs, bespoke kitchens and storage solutions.  I restore furniture for private clients, antique dealers and national organisations which include The National Trust and The Palace of Westminster.  I still enjoy teaching and now run a variety of woodwork courses, from beginners to more advanced.
